What is the main role of a NAUI Divemaster?

The primary role of a NAUI Divemaster is to organize and oversee dives for certified recreational divers. This responsibility encompasses a variety of important tasks, including guiding dive participants to ensure their safety and enjoyment, managing dive logistics, and providing assistance in emergency situations. While planning dive trips is certainly a part of the Divemaster's activities, it is not the main role. Leading certification courses is a responsibility reserved for instructors, not Divemasters, who do not conduct training themselves.
